Woody Greenberg joined the The Alternative Board TAB Long Island team in 2005 and currently facilitates and coaches two TAB business-owner boards. He has been a senior executive and consultant for over 40 years with a record of success in diverse industries. His consulting practice is focused on strategic planning, financial management, operations improvement and family issues for small businesses.

Greenberg is a Certified Board Facilitator and Certified Strategic Business Leadership™ Coach for The Alternative Board. TAB is a selective, by invitation only, membership organization made up of presidents, CEOs and business owners who meet in small structured boards on a monthly basis to increase revenue, improve profitability and operate their businesses more effectively through the accountability of a board of directors. TAB has grown to over 150 members on Long Island since its founding in 1999.

As President and COO, Greenberg was instrumental in the growth and profitability of Charles Greenberg & Sons, Inc. a 900-employee manufacturer of children’s shirts. While at Greenberg, he commercialized his in-house systems development team by co-founding Computer Generated Solutions, a professional services firm in the computer software field. He was Chairman and CEO of CGS in its early growth years, subsequently selling his interest in that firm.

He received an AB from Princeton and an MBA from Columbia School of Business. He has been a board member of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association and the Metro NY Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization, and has served as a commercial arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.
