Each facilitator with The Alternative Board® (TAB) is an experienced business person who has successfully completed an extensive TAB facilitator training program and participates in ongoing training sessions. Most facilitators run or have run their own businesses giving them a unique perspective to share with the board members.
The TAB facilitator guides the group discussions without dominating the meetings and encourages all members to express their views while keeping the discussion on track. They also ensure problem solving ideas are generated and the meeting does not become a gripe session.
Todd B. Ringler is a Professor of Management and Leadership in the Graduate School of Business at Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. He is also a CPA and a Certified Valuation Analyst with a Master’s Degree in Taxation. The State of New York Unified Court System has qualified him an expert in Accounting & Appraisal work under Article 36 of the Office of Court Administration.
Todd is President of both Global Business Valuation and Ringler & Associates CPAs. As a former executive chef and owner-operator of a successful 120 seat restaurant, he brings to his clients a unique perspective of academic education and professional training combined with real world experience of a business owner. This rare combination allows Todd to bring a vast knowledge base and broad experience in support of his clients’ efforts.

He further assists business owners by providing comprehensive and in-depth current business analysis and strategic planning in all operational areas, focusing on bottom-line improvement.
